I had to do the same thing to deal with my plateau I hit recently (although I've been using the nutritional software provided by my workplace). It's easy when you workout a lot to forget about or ignore the food part. Or to simply not realize how many calories are in something! (When I saw the calorie count of Smirnoff Ice, I swore off it for life, lol).

Your trainer sounds great. Right on the ball with everything. I'm glad you have her for this journey. :-)

A few other students have said the similar things to me. He looses a few of us with that chapter about society moving from oral to written traditions. I was just lucky in that I didn't have to keep reading. Good luck finishing it.

Seriously! I am going to try it this week though. I may not do well, but the other Yoga class is on Wednesday nights and I am not willing to give up knitting. The other option is Yogalates (yoga and Pilates?) with my trainer on Saturday afternoons. I am not sure I am ready for that just yet... I am going to ask them if they can do a water aerobics class when they do the next schedule.

Haha, yes, having a trainer you're paying for whether you show up or not REALLY makes you actually show up. It's helped me not give up entirely during my slumps (like the last couple of weeks when I've been sick and crazy busy). I think consistently trying new things at the gym helps too. Personally, I try to try at least one new class a month. It keeps things interesting.

And, really? 8:30am? Man, and I'm proud when I make it to a weekend noon appointment, lol. ;-)
