This came in the middle of the move to the new blog and I only just added Flickr to this blog. This is the awesome package I got in my Ravelry Birthday Swap! Thank you very much to Kelli who sent it to me from NYC! What is here? Well a wealth of things including yummy dark chocolates (some with my favorite: hazelnuts)! They are all gone by now. Two books: MochiMochi and Geek Craft. I have been coveting Geek Craft for a while, but I already have MochiMochi. I am going to offer my old copy to my friends and keep this new one. Sabine got some treats and, by chance, she happens to have been born in September too and it a virgo. I think this is why she is my kitty soulmate. The lovely pattern keeper was actually in my KnitPicks cart. I held off on buying it specifically because my birthday was coming up. I was going to wait to see what I got before I just bought things. The yarn is lovely lace weight and tweed from Knit Picks. I have to put it aside for 2012 projects, but I have patterns in my queue just for these yarns. The magnets are being saved. I am strongly, strongly considering painting my office/spare room closet doors with some magnet paint. These magnets would be awesome on it. Finally the beautiful scarf! Not only do I love the color, but I love the crochet technique: crochet cables! It looks very much like a knit scarf. I am always thrilled when people try different crochet patterns. This scarf is so soft and lovely. It will look so nice with my coats this winter.
